Arts & Crafts Vendors

Saturday, November 12, 2016 – 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. * Sunday, November 13, 2016 – 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

We are thrilled with your interest in participating as an Arts and Crafts Vendor at the Chambers Country Fair. We will be at our brand NEW location The Oaks/ Jack-o-lantern Lane in LaFayette, AL. Please review the following
guidelines carefully and complete the application. Return the completed application and fee no later than
October 1, 2016.

  • A fee of $100 is charged for a 2 day craft exhibitor. A $60 fee is charged for a 1 day craft exhibitor. An additional fee of $5 is needed for each electrical outlet needed. (Please see electrical clause below.) **EARLY BIRD RATE: Applications received before August 31, 2016 the fee will be $75 for 2 day vendors and $45 for 1 day vendors. (Checks should be made payable to Chambers Country Fair)
  • Exhibitor is responsible for charging 8% sales tax and filing his own tax return.
  • Each applicant is subject to review by the Exhibitor Evaluation Committee. The Committee reserves the right to deny an application if other applications have been previously approved for the sale of similar goods.
  • Vendor merchandise may include handmade crafts, new items, antique and/or collectible items. NO flea market or yard sale items allowed.
  • No materials or displays with profanity or obscenity will be allowed. Weapons may not be sold to anyone under the age of 18. (The Committee reserves the right to refuse or remove any questionable displays or items.)
  • Exhibitor must provide all materials for the booth space; including tables, chairs, equipment, tents, signage, and cleaning your booth area. Labor is not provided for booth set up. (Anchored tents are strongly encouraged.)
  • Each booth space measures 16’ x 16’. Assignments will be made on a first come first serve basis. Booth spaces may be requested but are not guaranteed. A map is enclosed for your convenience. If you need special consideration for any reason, please notify us and we will work with you in every way possible.
  • The Chambers Country Fair Committee, sponsor of this fair, does not assume responsibility for any damage, injury, loss, or theft that may occur to an exhibitor or his goods.
  • Participation cancellation is non-refundable.
  • If your application is rejected, your fee will be refunded.

Fair Schedule

  • Exhibitors may set up their booths from 6:00-8:30 am. CST on Saturday November 12 and Sunday November 13, 2016.
  • For safety reasons, ALL vehicles must be removed from show areas to the parking areas by 8:30 am. CST. No vehicles will be allowed to return to the show area to break down vendor booths until after 5:00 pm.
  • Chambers Country Fair will be held RAIN OR SHINE. Please prepare accordingly. There will be NO refunds.
  • ELECTRICAL CLAUSE: Our venue has electrical limitations. Please list your electrical requirements. All applications are subject to review. **Must provide your own extension cords (no less than 100 ft.)**

 

Food Vendors

  • A fee of $200 is charged for a 2 day food vendor. A $125 fee is charged for a 1 day food vendor. An additional fee of $5 is needed for each electrical outlet needed. (Please see electrical clause below) **EARLY BIRD RATE: Applications received before August 31, 2016 the fee will be $175 for 2 day vendors and $100 for 1 day vendors. (Checks should be made payable to Chambers Country Fair)
